You did everything you were supposed to.
So why are you this tired?
A two-day live workshop for women who are doing everything right and quietly wondering why it doesn’t feel right.
Tuesday, Nov 17 and Wednesday, Nov 18
11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Central, both days
Live on Zoom
$399
Limited seats available. Small group work ensures we can hold space, listen purposefully, and give genuine feedback for every person attending.

“I’m just tired.”
“I should be happy with what I have.”
“I’d love to, but ....”
“I’ve got to finish that before Friday.”
“I wish I could just...not.”
“I wish I could....”
“It’s just how things are.”
Have you said one of these this week? Did you think twice about it?
Nothing is wrong, exactly. Work got done. Everyone’s fed. The house mostly holds together. And something underneath is wearing on you that you can’t quite name.
You’re not ungrateful. And you don’t need to try harder. You’ve been trying hard your whole life.
Maybe the problem was never your effort. Maybe it’s where you’re putting that effort.

You dismiss things as “not my circus, not my monkeys.” But how much are you carrying with those monkeys on your back?
The next time something feels heavier than it should, pause and ask:
Is this actually mine?
That’s it. No fixing. Just notice it.
Most of us never ask, because the “shoulds” arrived early and sounded like common sense. We took them on before anyone asked whether we wanted them.

Early on, you picked up some rules. Nobody handed you a list. You just watched what got praised and what got a look.
Be useful. Don’t make a fuss. Finish what you start. Take the safe job. Put everyone else’s plate first. Want things quietly, if at all.
You followed them so well that you stopped hearing them. Now they just sound like you. “I should call her back.” “I can’t leave that to anyone else.” “It’s too late to start something new.” Somewhere along the way, you stopped asking who wrote them.
Inherited obligations are the “shoulds” you carry without ever having chosen them.
Reasonable. Responsible. Grateful. Somebody taught you to call those virtues. Funny how they always seem to mean stay small, stay in line, and know your place.
For two mornings, we take your “shoulds” out one at a time and ask three things. Where did you learn this? Who does it serve? What is it costing you? We do it out loud, in a small group, with someone who will ask the next question when you would rather skip it.

Some of them will hold up. Keep those, and carry them on purpose.
Others came from a parent, a boss, a school, or the family member giving the side-eye at every gathering. Those you can set down.
A pile of obligations looks like one giant, immovable thing, until you pull it apart into a list of small, specific questions. Each question has an answer you can act on. You do not have to fix your life. You find the first piece and move it.
Two days in the room, and you walk out with:
Clarity about which “shoulds” are yours, and which ones were handed to you.
Permission to change priorities, and find new solutions
A plan that makes room for what you love, and no longer treats it as a luxury you haven’t earned
More trust in your own read of things. You’ll be versed in how to ask “is this mine”, “why”, “why not”, and more, to help guide you through new steps each day
This is for you if:
You are grateful for the life you have, but feel an unsettledness that you just can’t quite pin down
You’ve kept adding things (credentials, systems, effort) hoping one would finally feel like enough
You shy away from the things that really bring you joy
You want a real human to talk through things with, not another guide to work through, or book to read
You can set aside two mornings to be there live
